Tom Herod has trained thousands of workers in hundreds of workplaces internationally since 1985. He is also contracted by national seminar producers to deliver lively, entertaining, and thought-provoking one day compliance update seminars in over 100 cities per year!

Often a featured speaker at Trade Association conferences and conventions, Herod combines wit, humor, technical competency and in-depth knowledge of industrial manufacturing techniques and service concepts to deliver customized addresses. The only compliance trainer with hands-on experience and sophisticated know-how in OSHA, MSHA, EPA, DOT and ISO disciplines, he often is called upon to develop and deliver customized combinations of several topics..... to meet demanding customer needs!

His career in the regulated community began as a safety engineer for a major workers compensation insurance carrier in the late 1970's, followed by sales of industrial safety products/monitoring instrumentation, hazardous waste disposal services, and finally as manager of customer compliance training at a large hazardous waste disposal/recycling firm.

Herod ventured out as an independent training & compliance consultant in August 1989 and has steadily gained a reputation as a superb platform presenter of technical and regulatory compliance information.

Herod studied Mechanical Engineering Technology at Marshall University, then Industrial Hygiene & Toxicology at Northeastern University.
