Australian born Theresa Behenna is a keynote speaker, internationally acclaimed pianist, recording artist and author. Describing herself as “young and fearless” Theresa left her native homeland at 21 years old to pursue a musical career that began on a cruise ship in the South Pacific and resulted in several years of touring the world on a piano bench. With her outgoing personality and mastery of the keyboard, Theresa’s success opened global doors from Tahiti to Tokyo and Singapore to Switzerland appearing in some of the world’s most prestigious hotels and resorts. With over 20 years experience in the music industry Theresa has entertained thousands of people from all cultures and backgrounds including celebrities Andrew Lloyd Webber, Princess Grace, Donald Sutherland, President George Bush Sr., and ‘James Bond’. A business opportunity lured Theresa to Texas in 1982 where she quickly became one of Houston’s most renowned pianists. Since then her extraordinary talents have been in demand at special events throughout the United States and in 2006 she was chosen by Coca Cola to perform at the Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. A former TV talk show host and now an award winning speaker, Theresa has been delighting audiences for over a decade by combining her considerable talent as a world class pianist with her Aussie humor and a timeless universal message. Her uplifting, energetic keynotes have been widely acclaimed by a variety of organizations as being unique and inspirational, fun and entertaining. Some of our employees said this was the best program they’ve heard in 20 years!” Theresa is a professional member of the National Speakers Association, founding member of the Australian-American Chamber of Commerce and former President of the Piano Entertainers Guild. Her best selling piano CD “Songs for Friends” was released in 2001 and she is a contributing author of "Rekindling the Human Spirit" (Liberty Publishing 2003). Theresa resides in Houston, Texas.
