Theresa Behenna is an award winning motivational speaker, internationally acclaimed pianist, author, emcee, recording artist and cool blogger. Laid off from an office job during a recession in her native country Australia, Theresa began playing piano anywhere that paid and ended up touring the world. Armed with a positive attitude, a passion for performance and thirty one evening dresses, she has appeared in some of the world’s most prestigious venues before celebrities such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Matt Lauer, Elton John, Princess Grace, "James Bond" and President Bush. In 2006 Coca Cola chose her to perform at the Winter Olympics in Italy.
After moving to the USA in 1982, Theresa combined her entertainment business background with relevant content, Aussie humor and a motivational message that launched her into the speaking industry. Using mastery of the piano as parallel principles for success she has spoken to thousands of people at events across the country helping them excel in a tough economy by standing out from the crowd.
Theresa’s creative keynotes have resulted in a wide range of clients from associations to corporate giants like EXXONMOBIL that wrote: “Thanks tons for making our meeting a smashing hit! We loved your energy, humor and unique approach that kept us fully engaged. We were truly motivated by your presentation to be extraordinary in the workplace with relevant tips customized for our needs. The music was an awesome bonus!”
As a professional member of the National Speakers Association, Theresa won the John Wolfe Award for speaking excellence in 2007 and currently serves on the board. She is the sole artist on the best-selling CD “Songs for Friends” with a second album soon to be released.
