Stewart serves as Visiting Professor at the John F. Kennedy University School of Management and at the Peking University.

Over the last 15 years Stewart Emery has led thousands of employees and hundreds of managers around the world through Vision - Values - Strategy - Leadership initiatives based on the research from the international best sellers "Built to Last" (Collins and Porras), "Good to Great" (Collins) and "Success Built to Last" (Porras, Emery and Thompson).

This body of work is developed from the most comprehensive research project ever undertaken into what makes a great company great, how good companies become great companies and the traits of enduringly successful leaders who build great companies. Author of three other best selling books; Stewart Emery has led workshops, seminars and delivered keynotes all over the world.

His latest bestselling book Do You Matter? – How Great Design Will Make People Love Your Company was released in September 2008. Coauthored with iconic designer Robert Brunner (who founded Apple’s legendary Industrial Design Group) it is becoming required business reading.

A wonderful story teller with a great sense of humor, Stewart has appeared as a featured guest on television and radio talk shows. He has conducted coaching interviews with more than 12,000 people in the last three decades.

Through leading workshops and seminars, writing books, delivering keynotes, and making radio and television appearances, Stewart Emery has touched the lives of millions of people.

Stewart studied economics, philosophy and psychology at the University of Sydney before pursuing a career in the advertising arts. He served as a creative director for J. Walter Thompson’s Sydney office and taught design at the University of New South Wales. He co-founded Knockout Productions, an award winning TV and radio commercial production company before moving to the United States in 1971.

Stewart settled in the San Francisco Bay area to pursue his fascination with the psychology of greatness and became passionately engaged in leading workshops and seminars. In 1975 Stewart Emery co-founded Actualizations, an international learning and development organization. In the late 70’s he was selected by the national media as one of the ten most influential people in the Human Potential Movement. He has been awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters degree by John F. Kennedy University as an acknowledgement of his contributions.

Stewart Emery is Co-Founder (with Joan Emery) and President of Belvedere Consultants, a boutique–consulting firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their passion is to support individuals and organizations turning their talent into world class performance and enduring success. Core competencies include designing Coherent Organizational Cultures to deliver extraordinary customer experiences, Executive Leadership Team Development, Radical Mentoring and Executive Performance Coaching.

He serves as vice president of the Transformational Leadership Council and as consulting creative director-producer for a digital media and book series with FT Press (Pearson).
