Shannon Burchett is an entertaining and inspiring speaker on marketing & sales, motivation, and strategic management. Burchett is a widely recognized expert on strategic management, with experience in industry and on Wall Street, and is CEO of Risk Limited Corporation in Dallas.

Risk Limited provides international investment and financial advisory services, including corporate strategic management, merger & acquisition support, investor valuation services and financial risk management. He was formerly president of Ameren Energy and was senior vice president of marketing at Duke/Louis Dreyfus. He has previously held management and policy-making roles at Chase Manhattan Bank, Salomon Brothers, and PepsiCo.

Burchett is the author of more than 30 magazine articles, and a co-author of the books Managing Energy Price Risk and The US Power Market. Burchett is adjunct professor of finance at Tulane University. He holds an MBA in finance from Tulane University and a BS in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University.
