Since 1993, Sarita has spoken in 48 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico and Iceland. She has been interviewed by Fox News, ABC News and numerous radio shows about her book If You Can’t Say Something Nice, What DO You Say?
Prior to becoming a full-time professional speaker in 1993, Sarita worked in University Administration for thirteen years, including the role of Dean of Students at the University of California, San Diego.
Sarita has a Masters degree in Counseling, is a Toastmasters Humorous Speech contest winner and a Past President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Speakers Association.
