Firestone's book, Up Close and his video Great Moments in Sports History are in their fifth printing. Firestone donates proceeds from the sale of both to numerous charities including the Red Cross Fund for the families of the New York Fire and Police departments. A second book, Don't Make Me Cry, Roy was published in 2007.
