Ray Haring, Ph.D.

Dr. Haring is the author of two nationally acclaimed books. His latest book, The Smallest Things Make the Biggest Difference, has received enthusiastic endorsements from two #1 national bestselling authors, Dr. Ken Blanchard (The One Minute Manager) and Dr. John Gray (Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus). More About... Dr. Haring holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, in nutrition with an emphasis in physiological chemistry. As an educator, Dr. Haring is a Continuing Education Provider licensed with the California Board of Registered Nursing and faculty member at California State University, Sacramento and Los Rio Community College District. He has been awarded the California State University "Meritorious Performance and Professional Promise Award" for superior teaching and selected as one of five national faculty panelists at UC Berkeley's Annual Faculty Teaching Symposium to share expertise on effective communication and teaching skills. Dr. Haring is a frequent guest commentator on radio and television speaking on current health-related topics. He has presented over 300 hundred hours of live televised instruction on current nutrition and health topics on public cable television. He has also earned the SECC Cable Television Educator Award several years in a row.
