Monique Guild

Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in New Orleans by a psychiatrist father and a mother who is an actress (who happens to speak seven languages) and has socialized with the likes of Tennessee Williams. Monique attended Louisiana State University where she studied Pre-Law Business and majored in Psychology. Her love of acting brought her to New York to study with the renowned Bill Anderson at the Neighborhood Playhouse. Her New York experience spanned over 4 years where she worked as "head coat check girl" while also working as an actress, including a run on As The World Turns.

In 1989, Monique made the move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the Entertainment industry and was represented by the William Morris Agency for soap operas and commercials. Shortly thereafter, she decided to go behind the camera and took a position as a receptionist at Showtime Networks where she was quickly promoted to Assistant Marketing Coordinator in charge of 130 cable affiliates across the United States. In 1992, she was hired by Great Expectations as their National Director of Success Stories. It was there that she excelled in applying her gift with on-target placement of people in media events and television shows nationwide, including The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her work caught the attention of the Los Angeles Times and she and Great Expectations were featured in an article in November of 1992.

By 1994, Monique was hired by MacLaine Enterprises as a key liaison for Shirley MacLaine and her agent and publicist. After a one-year stint, Monique accepted a position with Mark Travis, Film and TV Director. It was Travis who said: "Monique, you have this amazing ability to zero in on people and their businesses, you really have to take this to the next level." So, by 1996, Monique who had been helping people improve their lives and businesses virtually since childhood, started her own business: Monique Guild; Business Intuitive.

She has appeared on numerous radio and cable TV shows nationwide such as The Aware Show with Lisa Garr, Innervisions with Nita Vallens and Roy of Hollywood among others. The response from these shows was incredible. Business executives began calling Monique asking her to help them and quickly learned that she has the ability to walk into any business situation and uncover what is blocking success. By January 2000, her workshops were selling out and she was being asked to give seminars at companies throughout Los Angeles.

In May 2001, Monique formed a new prosperity workshop entitled: Oh Hell! How Did I Get Here? And What Do I Need to Do to Clean This Up and Prosper Now? She is currently authoring a book on business intuition and prosperity to be published in 2002.
