Molly Cox

    Molly Cox: Profile
The unique voice of motivational speaker and comedian Molly Cox resonates with audiences from Kaiser Permanente Healthcare and Hospitals to The Smithsonian Institution. Each year, she inspires thousands to use humor in healthcare, business and education – to balance their daily lives by laughing at even the most absurd of life’s circumstances. After all, she has.

As the primary caregiver during her mother’s struggle with cancer, as her father’s primary caregiver, as a sister to three cancer survivors, she gets healthcare. She credits her mother’s sharp sense of humor (she referred to her pharmacist as her "dealer.") for her commitment to work with healthcare audiences nationally – to recognize their contributions and to make them LAUGH.

Molly’s background is as varied as her audiences: author and trainer, director of sales and marketing for two hotels, general manager of an upscale athletic club, co-owner of an improvisation and sketch comedy company and published author. She is most proud of her job specifically geared toward women (motherhood).

She coauthored Improvise This! How to Think on Your Feet so You Don’t Fall on Your Face twice on the CEO Top 25 List. As CEO and creative director of Strongcoffeeink, her popular Careerchik line of cards, coffee cups, note pads and the new Coaster Game have won accolades from The National Greeting Card Association, the St. Paul Pioneer Press and women around the country! Her sassy and savvy – not sappy – writing style even made it to the Mr. Rogers Life Time Achievement Awards (yes, she toned it down a bit).
