Mira Kirshenbaum: Profile
Mira Kirshenbaum has an international reputation as a therapist for individuals, couples, and families. She is co-founder and clinical director of The Chestnut Hill Institute. A sought-after speaker, Mira is the author of nine award-winning books, some national and international bestsellers. She has appeared many times on the Today Show and has been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey.
After completing her undergraduate study at The State University of New York at Stony Brook, she did her postgraduate training at the Boston Family Institute, followed by graduate study at the University of London and The City University of New York. Mira has since led workshops and conducted training for medical professionals at Harvard Medical School.
She is a recipient of the Parent's Choice Award for authoring best parenting book for 1991 and a Board Member of One Generation After: International Network of Children of Holocaust Survivors.
