Deborah Perry, political commentator for MSNBC and Fox News, is the founder and president of the Education Consortium Co., a Washington-based government and public affairs firm specializing in proven education reform programs. Deborah also serves as a broadcast and public speaking surrogate for the Republican National Committee (RNC). Since 1987, Deborah has amassed experience in federal and state government relations, politics, education, and foreign policy. Through her work at the Education Consortium Co., Deborah highlights numerous private and nonprofit entities and works to expand their successful education reform programs. In addition, Deborah serves as a founding steering committee member for the Potomac Regional Education Partnership, a local initiative started by U.S. Senator Jim Jeffords. In her days as a congressional staffer, Deborah was a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Connie Mack, and foreign policy advisor to U.S. Representative lliana Ros-Lehtinen. Deborah was appointed in the Bush Administration to serve as a public affairs officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
