Charles W. Prather: Profile
Dr. Charles "Charlie" Prather is President of Bottom Line Innovation Associates, Inc. helping organizations develop Innovation as a core competency. Many of the Fortune 500 are clients representing chemicals, paper, consumer products, high tech, government, financial services, and other segments. Charlie served DuPont some 24 years in numerous R&D and leadership positions. He was appointed Manager of the DuPont Center for Creativity & Innovation upon its formation and helped shape its direction and design its offerings. He is Senior Fellow of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Charlie is a frequent keynote speaker and conference presenter, authored many articles, and his book, Blueprints for Innovation, was published by The American Management Association. Charlie earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry from N.C. State University. He is from North Carolina and is bilingual in English and Southern. Charlie is a member of the National Speakers Association is a sought after keynote speaker, and consultant.
Charlie has spoken to and provided in-depth training and consulting for many of the Fortune 500 companies worldwide, such as Otis Elevator, China, Sears Roebuck, St. Jude Medical, MeadWestvaco, PPG, Hewlett Packard, Clorox, The Smithsonian, The American Red Cross, Eastman Chemical, J & J, GlaxoSmithKline, and many others.
