    Jonathan Vehar: Program Outlines

    Programs with Brief Descriptions:
Great Conference…Now what? Innovative Plans to move forward Conference Wrap-Up Session
Have you ever walked out of an inspiring conference that provoked your thinking and made you want to change everything? What happened next, if you’re like most people, is that you went back to the same old grind and the conference faded into a distant memory.

More than a culminating session that says more than, “good bye, travel safely, come back next year,” this interactive, high-energy session helps people review what they’ve heard, seen, and learned. Participants then design an innovative approach to putting it to work in their organization to develop a plan to put their learning to work. Attendees will also learn the biggest obstacles they’ll face back in the “real world” and plan for success in working around them. Then they can go back home, put it in practice and then really say, “great conference…and useful too!”

    General Outline:

    • Introduction and Overview
    • The challenge of returning to work
    • Review of key learnings from the conference
    • Summary and application of the key learnings
    • The biggest obstacles in your world
    • Creating plans to implement what’s been learned
    • Fool-proofing the plans
    • Wrap-up
    Group Size: 8 - 600
Duration: one and-one-half to four hours
Program benefits -- After the program, participants are able to:
    • Put what they’ve learned into practice
    • Reflect on their learnings and how to apply them
    • Create contingency plans to work through key obstacles at work
    • Shift the conference from “interesting” to “applicable”
    • State the value of the conference to those who were not in attendance

Innovation Leadership: How to work together to create breakthroughs (Hot Topic Keynote) No matter how hard you squeeze a lemon, there is a finite amount of juice. Organizations can only squeeze so much savings before it begins to atrophy. So then what happens? Change happens. Or the organization dies.

The good news is that everyone is creative. It’s part of the human condition. But bringing out the creativity in your team and putting it to work productively requires real work…in a new way.

This presentation looks at the fundamental blocks and barriers to innovation, and then provides new tools and techniques for getting around them, over them, or under them. Participants will also learn the leadership competencies that specifically apply to innovation. By harnessing creatively thinking brains in series, we can create new ways of thinking, new ways of doing, and breakthrough results.

This presentation will require you to think, will ask you to participate, and will beg you to take action. The status quo will not move the industry forward. Find out how to unseal the box and go beyond routine thinking. Lemonade not included.
