A veteran of sports television for almost 30 years, Greg Gumbel recently signed a new multi-year agreement with CBS and will kick off his fourth NFL season paired with former NY Giants’ quarterback, Phil Simms, as the network’s #1 lead NFL announce team. Gumbel, along with Simms, called CBS Sports’ broadcast of Super Bowl XXXV, becoming the first network broadcaster to both call play-by-play and host a Super Bowl.
