Rue McClanahan, nominated for an Emmy four times as best actress in a comedy series for her role as Blanche on "The Golden Girls," won the award in 1987. She was also nominated for four Golden Globes and received a Golden Apple. Mike Mullane, MS , New Mexico USA -- 10.0k to 15.0k

Astronaut Mike Mullane is a 1967 graduate of West Point and holds a Master's of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Commissioned in the Air Force, he completed 150 combat missions in Vietnam. In 1978, Colonel Mullane was selected as a Mission Specialist in the first group of Shuttle Astronauts, flew three space missions, and logged 356 hours in space before retiring in 1990.
