      Bob Love , Illinois USA -- 5.0k to 10.0k
      For seven straight years Bob Love was the Chicago Bulls' highest scorer, setting a team record of 25.8 points per game! However, in spite of his success on the court, Love was unable to do something most people take for granted - talking without stuttering. After retiring from basketball, he tried for seven years to find a steady job and in 1984 was hired as a dishwasher at Nordstrom's for $4.45 per hour. Working six months in a row without a day off, Love was noticed by Nordstrom's owner who offered to pay for speech therapy. The rest is history. After representing Nordstrom's, Love made his way back to the Bulls and is now director of community relations.
