I'm a very new member of the NSA. When I attended the conference in
Orlando I listened to all kinds of famous people that I'd never
heard of before, but all were very interesting. Everyone seems to
have one story about a speaker who changed his or her life. Well, for
me it was Joel Weldon. He blew me away.
First of all he worked incredibly hard to prepare his presentation.
Secondly, he didn't appear to be full of himself in the least. In
fact, he appeared to be there for the audience and only for us.
Finally, he gave me a tip that I've used with great success ever
since. He guarantees his results.
I decided to do the same thing. I aimed a little lower than Joel,
being new to this game. I said if I didn't get an average evaluation
of 8 or more, I would refund my fee. Did that ever keep me focused!
I got an average of 9.4 and two thirds of the participants gave me
a ten out of ten! I swear I would never have thought of doing that
nor that it would have worked so well to keep my client's interests
first and mine second. I use it all the time and I have Joel to
thank.
