In my speaking I have relied almost exclusively on the pain,pathos and therefore humor of the personal story for heartfelt communication. Forty professional speakers are gathering in Donaldson Indiana on Nov 15-17 for the 4th Annual Exploring The Speaker's ARt Retreat. This year's theme is "The Discovery of Soul in Your Story"; leaders are Ian Percy of Canada; Lee Glickstein of San Francisco; Susan Komis of St. Louis and myself as teacher of personal story and how to deliver it with humor.
